I can't believe it's Monday again. Time has been flying in such a ridiculous fashion lately. I mean, it's almost May. Of 2009. How did that happen?????
Anyway, this week will be another interesting one, meal-wise. Husband is traveling, so it's just Baby and me for the week. I might have a dinner guest at some point in the week, but that's about as exciting as the week will get, I think.
Monday - Subway take-out (in support of the NBC show "Chuck" which hasn't yet been renewed and is awesome) and fresh Florida corn-on-the-cob
Tuesday - Meatloaf, onion potatoes, and broccoli
Wednesday - Frozen shrimp scampi (Gorton's) and linguine
Thursday - Fish fillets and garlic potatoes
Friday - Chicken teriyaki and fluffy white rice (a new recipe)
Saturday - Chicken cutlets and pasta
Sunday - Whiskey glazed pork chops (a new recipe!)
All in all, kind of a boring meal week, but hopefully I'll remember to snag a picture of my beautiful meatloaf to add to the recipe post. I'm looking forward to trying out the new chicken teriyaki recipe and the pork chops, though I've got to try really hard to remember about the required marinade for the chops. (I've even made a note on my calendar to help me remember.)

I am going to go check those out!
Yum Chicken teriyaki sounds good I should make that this week too.
You have a yummy menu planned. It is the middle to the afternoon and my tummy is rumbling.
I think that menu sounds great. I should try cooking with shrimp. Some of my kids like it.
I'm a big fan of shrimp, but so far I haven't tried many shrimp recipes. The Gorton's Shrimp Temptations are pretty good, though - they have a shrimp scampi flavor and lemon butter, and both are pretty tasty with pasta.
Mmm how do you do your chicken teriyaki? I L.O.V.E. chicken teriyaki. Your pork chops sound really good too!!
Any recipe sharing ahead?? :)
There is absolutely some recipe sharing ahead - both the pork chops and the chicken teriyaki are new recipes. The chicken is based on my beef teriyaki recipe, which I love (recipe also forthcoming this month), but a little different since chicken cooks so much differently than beef.
Looking forward to those recipes!
