Menu Plan Monday for January 18th

It's finally warmed up around here, and I'm sad to see the cold go - at least at the moment, I am. I prefer being cold to being warm any day. Plus, you get to have awesome things like hot chocolate and hot soup when it's cold - those things are nowhere near as enjoyable when it's hot outside. And it's borderline hot here in Florida. Argh.

So, this week, I've got two new recipes in the works, and I'm still on the hunt for an awesome, moist yellow cake recipe to make for Baby's birthday next month. (If you think you've got that recipe, tell me, please!)

Tuesday - Apple Maple Chicken (a new recipe!)
Wednesday - Spaghetti and Garlic Knots (and I might just try to make my spaghetti sauce from scratch!)
Thursday - Meatloaf
Saturday - Burgers
Sunday - Soy Glazed Chicken and Onions (a new recipe!)

I LOVE your blog--we are kindred spirits and boy can I relate to the overachiever, sweet tooth stuff! In my job for a cooking software company I study blogs and one of the happy parts of this assignment is finding great sites like yours. I am so glad I found this! Since I work for the company I finally decided to try their product (DUH!) and it’s amazing! Without sounding like an infomercial, I wanted to tell you about their software recipe software that’s simplified my life a ton. FINALLY I can find what I need, when I need it, without having to scour through boatloads of recipes and books! (I’ve included the link in case you are interested.) Lastly, thanks so much for a great blog—I love your information and how reader-friendly your site is!

Menu planning in our house is a must. My kids are picky and I don't eat meat. If it weren't for menu planning we would be fighting about food all night and everyone would be hungry!

Thanks for sharing my SITS day today!
